Gas Dehydration
AstraZeidan provides complete one point source Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU) developed with key suppliers and technology licensors. AstraZeidan offers two unique GDU technologies:
-
GLYCOLINE®
-
GLYCOGEN®
GLYCOLINE®
The GLYCOLINE® is utilizing the state-of-art inline dispersion technology and inline separators supplied by Licensors. The wet gas is treated in a multi-stage Inline Contactors by lean TEG, where each stage is followed by an Inline Separator. Number of stages is dictated by water removal requirements. At the bottom of the Inline Separators, the rich TEG is sent to the regeneration section where water is vaporized in a Reboiler at near atmospheric pressure. The lean TEG produced in the reboiler is then stripped with slip gas stream before being pumped to the Inline Contactors.
Key Benefits
-
Utilizing Inline Mass Transfer and Separation Technology by Licensors
-
A well-qualified and proven technology
-
Widely tested in the field
-
A process easy to operate and offering high flexibility
-
Insensitive to foaming due to Hydrocarbons
-
Inherently safer; eliminating the need for Absorber section vessel entry inspection
GLYCOGEN®
The GLYCOLGEN® is utilizing a conventional gas dehydration technology. The wet gas is treated utilizing a TEG Contactor by lean TEG. At the bottom of the TEG Contactor, the rich TEG is sent to the regeneration section where water is vaporized in a Reboiler at near atmospheric pressure. The lean TEG produced in the reboiler is then stripped with slip gas stream before being pumped to the TEG Contactor.
Key Benefits
-
Utilizing proven technology
-
A well documented and tested technology worldwide
-
A process easy to operate and offering high flexibility
