Gas Sweetening

AstraZeidan provides complete one point source Gas Sweetening Unit developed with key suppliers and technology licensors.  AstraZeidan offers two unique sweetening technologies:

  • AMILINE®

  • AMIGEN®

AMILINE®

The AMILINE® is utilizing the state-of-art inline dispersion technology and inline separators supplied by Licensors.  The wet gas is treated in a multi-stage Inline Contactors by lean Amine, where each stage is followed by an Inline Separator.  Number of stages is dictated by H2S, CO2 and NH3 removal requirements. At the bottom of the Inline Separators, the rich Amine is sent to the regeneration section where water is vaporized in a Reboiler at near atmospheric pressure.  The lean Amine produced in the reboiler is then pumped to the Inline Contactors.

Key Benefits

  • Utilizing Inline Mass Transfer and Separation Technology supplied by Licensors

  • A well-qualified and proven technology

  • Widely tested in the field

  • A process easy to operate and offering high flexibility

  • Insensitive to foaming due to Hydrocarbons

  • Inherently safer; eliminating the need for Absorber section vessel entry inspection

AMIGEN®

The AMIGEN® is utilizing a conventional gas sweetening technology.  The wet gas is treated utilizing an Amine Contactor by lean Amine.  At the bottom of the Contactor, the rich Amine is sent to the regeneration section where water is vaporized in a Reboiler at near atmospheric pressure.  The lean Amine produced in the reboiler is then pumped to the Amine Contactor.

Key Benefits

  • Utilizing proven technology

  • A well documented and tested technology worldwide

  • A process easy to operate and offering high flexibility
